OMAHA, NE. January 28, 2004 - IntegriGuard, LLC, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Lumetra that fights healthcare fraud, abuse and waste, today announced its new headquarters located in Omaha, and company logo and Web site.

IntegriGuard (www.integriguard.org) is one of 12 federally-designated Program Safeguard Contractors (PSC) for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services' (CMS) Medicare Integrity Program (MIP) and one of eight companies awarded a Medicare Managed Care Program Integrity Contract (MMC-PIC).

"IntegriGuard's heritage is steeped in promoting the integrity of the Medicare program," said Peg Stessman, President, IntegriGuard, LLC. "The new company logo and Web site have been updated and enhanced to better represent the strength and speed of our work, as well as our dedication to exceptional performance in detecting and preventing unacceptable practices in the Medicare program."

As a PSC, IntegriGuard handles fraud case development, data analysis, fraud prevention/detection education, and fraud complaint development for benefit integrity activities associated with Medicare Part A & B. As a MMC-PIC, IntegriGuard supplements Regional Office and State Agency integrity responsibilities related to Medicare + Choice Organizations (M+COs), also called Medicare Part C. Like the PSC, MMC-PIC was designed specifically to identify, stop, and prevent fraud, waste, and abuse.

"We are very excited about our new Omaha headquarters," Stessman added "which will provide us an enhanced infrastructure to meet the expanding needs of the Medicare system, while offering IntegriGuard staff the ability to work in favorable location."
